About this Framework
BSI IT-Grundschutz (IT Baseline Protection) is the German federal government's comprehensive methodology for systematic information security management. The IT-Grundschutz methodology provides over 3,000 requirements across process and system-specific modules with implementation levels (Basic, Standard and High Protection) and is the basis for ISO 27001 certification on the IT-Grundschutz baseline by the BSI.
